Technical, Theoretical and Ideological Criticism.

 Criticism made on the work "La Capilla del Atardecer made by BNKR Arquitectura.

Description sent by the project team. Our first religious commission was a chapel conceived to celebrate the first day in the life of a new couple. Our second religious commission had a totally opposite purpose: to mourn the death of loved ones. This premise was the main motivation behind the design: both had to be polar opposites, as they were natural antagonists. While the first praised life, the second mourned death.

All decisions were made from this game of contrasts: glass against concrete, transparency against solidity, ethereal against heavy, classical proportions against apparent chaos, vulnerable against indestructible, ephemeral against durable.

The following criticisms are made both technically, theoretically and ideologically.
